Turning 40 is a deal. It is a time when your body starts to tell you that it needs a little care. A lot of men get so busy that they ignore these signs. The things you do now will affect your health later on. The good thing is that you do not have to make changes. Just doing a few things every day can make a big difference in your life. Here are 10 simple things that every man should do after turning 40.

1. You should go see your doctor for check-ups. Do not wait until you get sick. Go to the doctor a year to get tests like blood sugar and blood pressure. A lot of people find out they have diabetes when they get these tests. They can take care of it easily because they found out early.

 

2. Try to eat food that you cook at home. Eat food like roti and sabzi and dal and fruits and things like eggs. Try not to eat much food from outside. If you stop eating outside food every day and start eating food that you cook at home you will feel better. Have more energy in a few weeks.

 

3. You should exercise every day. You do not have to go to the gym. Just walk for 30 minutes. Ride a bike or do some light exercise. One man who worked in an office started walking every day. He lost weight and felt better in a few months.

 

4. You should take your sleep seriously. When you sleep your body gets to fix itself. So you should try to sleep for 8 or 9 hours every day. Try not to use your phone at night. If you start sleeping on time you will feel better. You will not be so tired.

 

5. You should learn how to deal with stress. When you turn 40 you might feel more stressed because of work and other things. So, try to breathe or meditate or just sit quietly for a few minutes. If you do this every day, you will feel better and less stressed.
