1. Careless parent. Having parents who weren't there when they needed support.

2. Disapproval of parents. Failure to receive positive feedback as a child can lead to seeking approval from others.

3. Physical anxiety. Failure to meet society's standards of "goodness."

4. Past trauma. Abused people may feel that they deserve abuse, which can hurt their self-esteem.

5. Anxiety and depression. These issues can get in the way of most areas of life, confidence being one of them.

6. Bad friends. I have fake and manipulative friends.

7. Negative monologue. Eventually they developed this pattern and it works well now.

8. Compare yourself. People tend to compare their Chapter 2 to other people's Chapter 34. It's absurd.

Everyone has confidence in themselves! To make it shine, it needs the right stuff. Let's highlight some of the reasons

past experiences

the way people treat you

fear of expressing yourself

you don't feel comfortable in public.

There may be many other reasons, but you have to find within yourself the cause of your lack of self-confidence.
