Some chemicals can also be the cause of vaginitis. These chemicals are often found in soaps, feminine sprays, perfumes, and vaginal contraceptives. Some chemicals that cause allergies are as follows:

If any of these chemicals are in your soap or laundry detergent, stop using them. Vaginitis can also be caused by menopause, low hormone levels, or removal of the ovaries. Due to this problem, the vagina can become dry.
