चीनसह अनेक देशांमध्ये कोविड-19 ची प्रकरणं झपाट्याने वाढत आहेत. गेल्यावर्षी कोरोनाने भारतात खूप नुकसान केले. आता कोरोनाच्या नव्या व्हेरिएंटमुळे चिंता वाढली आहे. चीनमध्ये हे ओमिक्रॉनचे सब-व्हेरियंट BF7 खूप वेगाने पसरत आहे, यामुळे येत्या काही दिवसांत 1.5 दशलक्षाहून अधिक मृत्यू होण्याची शक्यता आहे. भारतातही आता विशेष काळजी घेण्याची गरज आहे. अशा परिस्थितीत पुन्हा एकदा मास्क वापरणं अनिवार्य होणार का? हा प्रश्न नागरिकांच्या मनात आहे. जाणून घेऊया माहिती.


दररोज सर्वाधिक रुग्ण आढळणाऱ्या देशांच्या यादीत भारत 51 व्या क्रमांकावर आहे. मंगळवारी येथे तीन नवीन संक्रमित आढळले, तर कोणताही नवीन मृत्यू झाला नाही. भारतात आतापर्यंत 4.46 कोटी लोक संसर्गाच्या विळख्यात आले आहेत. त्यापैकी 4.41 कोटींहून अधिक लोक बरे झाले आहेत, तर 5.30 लाख रुग्णांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. भारतात सध्या 4,527 रुग्ण उपचार घेत आहेत. सक्रिय प्रकरणांच्या बाबतीत भारत सध्या जगात 90व्या क्रमांकावर आहे.

India ranks 51st in the list of countries with the highest number of daily cases. Three new infections were reported here on Tuesday, while no new deaths were reported. In India, 4.46 crore people have been infected so far. Out of them, more than 4.41 crore people have recovered, while 5.30 lakh patients have died. Currently 4,527 patients are undergoing treatment in India. India currently ranks 90th in the world in terms of active cases.
